Michael Hackworth

Mike Hackworth has been a driving force behind the growth of Silicon Valley companies for over 35 years. Co-founding Cirrus Logic, he served as President and CEO from January 1985 to June 1998 and continued to serve as CEO until February 1999. Mr. Hackworth currently serves as an "Advisor to Entrepreneurs" and also serves on the board of Cirrus Logic, Virage Logic Inc. and several private company boards. Previously, Mr. Hackworth was Senior Vice President of MOS and Linear Products Group at Signetics Corporation (now Philips). Early in his career, he held senior management roles at Signetics, Motorola and Fairchild Semiconductor.In 1990, he was named Semiconductor Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, and in 2001 the Fabless Semiconductor Association presented him with the prestigious Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award for his visionary contributions to the fabless semiconductor industry. |
Lou DiNardo - Director
Lou DiNardo brings over 25 years of experience as a successful semiconductor industry executive and venture investor. Most recently, he held the position of President and COO of Intersil Corporation. Prior to that he served as President and CEO of Xicor Corporation before the company was aquired for over $500M by Intersil. Mr. DiNardo has also served as Vice President and General Manager of the Mixed Signal Business Unit at Linear Technology and held a variety of executive positions with the company during his 13-year tenure with the company. He began his career in the semiconductor industry at Analog Devices Corporation.Mr. DiNardo is currently with Crosslink Capital in the firm's Alternative Energy & Cleantech and Computing & Semiconductors practices. In June of 2008 he joined the board of directors at SiFlare. |
Vijay C. Parikh -
Director
Vijay Parikh has experience as both a successful start-up CEO and established company executive. He served as president and CEO of StratumOne Communications, founded in 1997, which Cisco Systems acquired in 1999 for $435 million. Following the acquisition, Mr. Parikh served as Cisco's Public Carrier IP Group Vice-President and General Manager.Prior to StratumOne, Mr. Parikh was VP/GM of Conexant's Wireless Communications Division. He has also held several other VP/GM positions at Conexant.Mr. Parikh received his BSEE from the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences in India and MBA from the University of Michigan. He also serves on the boards of Newport Media and Teranetics. |
Peter Buhl

Peter Buhl, Partner, co-founded BlueRun Ventures and is based in Menlo Park. Pete’s investments span the IT spectrum from wireless and enterprise solutions to semiconductors and systems.Prior to starting the firm, Pete had 12 years of operations and finance experience in venture backed companies, including executive positions with Ipsilon Networks and Software Alliance Corp. Pete started his career at Price Waterhouse and holds a B.S. from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. |
Yusuf Haque

Yusuf Haque, a 30-year industry veteran, is a well recognized industry expert in analog semiconductor ICs. Before joining SiFlare in January 2008, he spent 22 years at Maxim, helping it grow from a startup to one of the top analog semiconductor IC supplier in the industry. For the last eight years he was the General Manager for Maxim’s Signal Processing and Data Converter Business Unit with full P&L responsibility. Under his leadership Maxim grew to become the third largest data converter supplier in the industry. Previously he served in progressively greater design engineering and management roles at Maxim. He has personally designed over 70 products and over 350 industry leading products were market launched under his leadership. Before that, he was at AMI for eight years in various design and strategic product marketing roles.He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MBA. He holds over 30 patents and has chaired IEEE ISSCC and CICC Conference sessions. Dr. Haque was also a guest editor for the Journal of Solid-State Circuits. |
